What is Moon Glow?

My love for Planifolia Orchid began in 2014 with Moon Glow Face Oil. I have always enjoyed everything Vanilla of course for many, many years and it's far from ordinary. Some people like to use the expression that something is "so vanilla" when it is basic or plain, but I have found it to be anything but ordinary and definitely something very much so divine.

I have found the therapeutic, sensual and antioxidant benefits so appealing, soothing and amazing! The history, ancient folklore and benefits handed down are incredibly intriguing alone there is so much to learn!

I have been consistently working with this beautiful plant being for the past 10 years and my love and desire to learn more continues to deepen. An orchid that is quiet literally a gift from the Heaven and the Goddess Venus herself, it is used in all my potions. What started out with Madagascar Vanilla Beans has turned into Hamakua Big Island Vanilla Beans and now Wailua Kauai Grown Vanilla Beans, so fragrant and lovely! My hopes and dreams for the future is learning to grow and care for this special other worldly orchid and beans on my own property here on the Heavenly Garden Isle of Kauai, a dream that is actually coming true after daydreaming of it for the past 10 years!

It started with creating an organic non toxic vanilla bean infused moonlight lip balm in 2014. It has now turned into 4 super lovely luxe vanilla infused skincare oil blends. A brightening, smoothing, plumping vanilla-blueberry-sea buckthorn berry facial oil, a firming, nourishing vanilla, -guava body oil, a shimmering night blooming jasmine body oil and a divine heavenly scented perfume blend.

All infused with Kauai grown vanilla beans & a blend of nourishing soothing flowers.

I have been crafting a floral vanilla bean infused oil with the Full Moons for many, many moons. Moon glow oils are a blend of organic, cold pressed high quality oils & botanicals. The face oil is a blend of jojoba, rose hip & sea buckthorn. Infused with Self Heal Flower, Watermelon Tourmaline, Moonstone & Rose Quartz.  I am also now offering a deeply nourishing firming, plumping body oil: a blend of Jojoba, Coconut, Hemp, Olive, Hibiscus Roselle, Guava & Sea Buckthorn.

All organic, non toxic, free of essential oils, fragrance-free & vegan.

Moon Glow Oils are made in small batches monthly with the Full Moon. A ceremonial soothing, twilight hour meeting that connects me back to the elements, the earth & the moon. No matter what goes on in my busy month, I look forward to centering and grounding. Walking outside barefoot in the wet grass, or in my boots walking in the snow, to put the jars & bottles under the moon for a moonlit bath of fresh flowers, gems & flower essences. I also incorporate whatever is growing nearby that is feeling a call to bring its frequency & healing to the blend. The oils then sit outside to infuse under the moonlight. It also gets a beautiful peaceful dose of early morning dew drops & golden sunrise frequency. (In the case of cold weather like when I lived in Alaska, I didn't leave it out all night due to temperatures & would allow it to sit on the windowsill through the night). I do this for about 3 days during the full moon time. I look forward to this monthly meeting with the moon and bringing this botanical plant energy frequency and healing to others for their skin and soul. 
What once began as a moonlight inspired Vanilla Lip Balm, journaling and planting seeds of goals in life (tending to the garden of life) by the moon phases, has become a full on passionate hobby of love, creativity & a path to healing from the toxic beauty industry world as an esthetician of 19 years. 

Simple, pure, gentle skincare and self love is the intention of how it started years ago with my clients and friends being their esthetician, & that is still my number one intention to this day for me to bring to others.

I strive to be as eco friendly as possible and limit any plastic use. I use a recycled Kraft paper label (which I used from the beginning, hand drawn & cut back then!) glass bottles with droppers. I also reuse packaging materials. My goal is to eventually have a refill option and less material by printing directly onto glass and having a sealed lid that you can use a glass dropper with that doesn't contain any plastic or rubber. Growing into goals of sustainable eco friendly packaging & donating a percentage of each bottle sold to local non profits helping to teach young children the importance of connection to the earth/aina/aana by gardening, sustainable farming & tending to the land & taking care of our Earth.
